Use the Voicemail Inbox

Summary

Use the Voicemail inbox when you want an inbox-style workflow for managed-number messages. It is the best place to review, retrieve, and clean up voicemail without browsing the broader call history first.

Prerequisites

  • Your workspace includes the voicemail inbox.
  • You have a managed number with voicemail configured.

Open the inbox

You can enter the page from Open Inbox, Open voicemail inbox, or the main Voicemail inbox workspace.

The page can include supporting actions such as:

  • Search voicemail
  • Manage voicemail
  • Refresh numbers

Choose the managed number

Use the number picker to confirm the Selected number. The page can also show the current state for that number, such as:

  • Managed number
  • Voicemail enabled
  • Voicemail disabled
  • Flow linked
  • No flow linked

If the number list is still loading, you may see Loading your managed numbers....

Filter and sort messages

Use the inbox controls to narrow the list:

  • Inbox
  • All
  • Unread
  • Newest first
  • Oldest first

If messages are still loading, you may see Loading voicemail messages....

Review a voicemail

Each message can show details such as:

  • Caller
  • Unread
  • Transcript

Use actions such as:

  • Play
  • Mark read
  • Mark unread
  • Delete

Use the transcript and playback together when you want to confirm the message before following up.

Delete a voicemail

When you choose Delete, CallCues can confirm with Delete this voicemail from the inbox?.

Use:

  • Cancel
  • Confirm delete

Move between pages

Use Previous, Next, and Page to move through the inbox when the selected number has more messages than fit on one screen.

Empty and filtered states

You may see one of these states:

  • No voicemail messages yet. when the selected number has no saved messages
  • No voicemail messages match the current filter. when the inbox has messages but the current filters hide them

Expected outcome

You should be able to review voicemail by number, listen to messages, read transcripts, and keep message status current.
